Year 5 Drum Circles

In year 5 we have been learning all about drum circles. We have played some games and various activities that have practiced keeping a steady beat and then we learnt about improvising in a group. In this video we made up the music as we went along. The only planned part was how we started and stopped. What do you think of our spontaneous music?

    Everybody had good concentration on when the music was coming and when to play their instrument.
