Musician of the Month - Stevie Wonder

September already! Our new musician of the month is Stevie Wonder - quite a different type of musician to last month's!

(Born 1950)

  • He is a singer, songwriter and plays many different instruments including piano, guitar and harmonica.
  • He first became famous at the age of 11 when he was given the nickname 'Little Stevie Wonder'.
  • Stevie Wonder is actually not the name his parents gave him - his birth name was Stevland Hardaway Judkins.
  • He still performs regularly in concerts and on TV, aged 64 years old.
  • He has been blind since shortly after he was born
