Musician of the Month - August
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
(1756-1791)
- Mozart is one of the most famous classical composers of all time.
- He was born in Salzburg, Austria.
- He died when he was still very young, just 35 years old (that's younger than most the CWBS teachers!)
- He was a child genius, composing his first pieces of music at the age of 5 and touring Europe playing concerts as a teenager.
Symphony number 40
Clarinet Concerto
Piano Quartet
-
The 2nd piece of music was very calm. It was my favourite from the 3 pieces.
ReplyDeleteHow did the musicians learn to play the music so well? Especially when it is going very fast.
ReplyDeleteHi Joseph - thank you for your comments and well done for being the first to comment in this school year. Have yourself a house point from me!
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd piece was my favorite

DeleteFirst one was my favorite
ReplyDeleteJamie Kim
Hi Jamie, thank you for commenting. It's interesting that so far we've had 3 comments and they've all had different favourites. I think that's a good thing.
DeleteI liked the 3rd song because of how it was presented was great. The next musician of the month , it can be : Niocolo Paganini , Theme from Le streghe. Ivan Berlin , Puttin' on the Ritz. Or Michael Zev Gordon , Joshi's Dance.
ReplyDeleteLik hang.
Hi Lik Hang, thanks for your comments. I agree the presentation of the third piece is great! Some interesting suggestions for musicians of the month too.
DeleteThe third piece was my favourite because it was being played by shapes, sizes and colours.
