In Year 6 we have been learning about song writing. To begin with, all children worked in groups to create a chord progression they could play on a range of instruments. After this, they created lyrics based around a theme of their choice. The final step was to fit the words in with the chord progression and finish off their song. It was very challenging work, but all the year 6 children, had great fun and learnt a lot in the process.
